How do we go about booking JPS Entertainment for my event?
How do we go about booking JPS Entertainment for my event?
- Click on the Book date link
- Fill out form and print the contract.
- Send your signed contract back to the address on form with your $100.00 deposit. (The deposit will be taken off of the balance which is due the day of your event.)
What do you accept for a payment?
We will accept cash, check, money order and soon we will be accepting credit card. The $100.00 deposit is due in the form of a check and can be made out to JPS Entertainment. The remaining balance is due the date of your event.
Are you insured? Can you supply me with proof of Liability insurance?
Many responsible business owners carry liability insurance to protect their business and the consumer. Many locations are beginning to require proof of liability insurance. We can email you proof of the companies Liability insurance.
Are we allowed to submit our own music selection?
Yes, we are providing a great service for your function. This is your event. Your music taste is our number one priority. We will provide you with as many suggestions as you need, if you don't like our suggestions, we don't take it personally. If you do provide us with a music selection please email those suggestions 7 days before your event.
What dress attire will your Disc Jockey wear to my event?
Professionalism is very important to our as it's important to you. Our disc jockeys will dress in black pants, dress shirt and tie, and a black vest. Each event is different, we can also wear business casual.
What kind of music do you have?
Our music libraries consist of over 35,000 songs. We have almost every genre including the 50's, to todays Top 40's. Other genre's include the 60's, 70's, Motown, Disco, and my favorite the 80's. It doesn't stop there we have 90's, oh you can't forget about Polkas. Our Top 40's music is professionally edited by Promo Only which supplies Disc Jockeys with radio edited high quality music. Let's not forget about wedding favorites like the Chicken dance, Hokey Pokey, Cha Cha slide, and much, much more.
What type of equipment do you use?
In order to provide a great wedding or event service to our client, we only use state-of-art Led lights and lasers. Some of the brands include Shure microphones, American DJ, Chauvet, and Electro-Voice. We rely on EV powered speaker, and for our premium package we have Electro-Voice 1000 watt powered bass speakers to provide a rich sound to your event. We have the ability to cover the dance floor, as well as the walls, with light according to your specifications.
Will you have back-up equipment?
Yes, we always have two systems for each one of our events. Back up cd players, mixer, and additional powered speakers.
Do I need to have an Emcee? What is our role?
The role of an Emcee at a wedding or event is to make sure everything goes off without any problems, your disc jockey is the Master of the reception, my vision of an event is like a block buster movie, everything from the opening title to the credits is perfection in the making. We work with the photographer, caterers, everyone, timing is very important. We will take care of the announcements at your event such as the cake cutting, tossing of the garter belt, bouquet toss, and we will let you know the best time for your toasts for the night. We will take the stress out of your night.
